Magnesium Plates are marking tools for impressions in leather. Magnesium Plates are a practical option when the design is not too detailed and when the desired image size is larger than two inches. These plates are a cost-effective alternative to Steel Plates and intended for short-run leather projects. Magnesium Plates are intended for use in clickers or presses.A Magnesium Plate is ¼” thick. Artwork for Magnesium Plates needs to be provided in “camera-ready” black & white or in any other two contrasting colors providing it is of high quality with no shadows or gray areas. If artwork is mailed it needs to be in actual sizes required on the Magnesium Plates. When artwork is e-mailed, actual sizes need to be indicated in the E-mail message. Some fonts may not be suitable for all stamps. When choosing a font or a few font options, the total image size (for the stamp face) needs to be taken into consideration. Additional fonts may become available as the Infinity Stamps Font Selection continuously grows. Fonts used in other languages such as Asian, Arabic and Hebrew can also be used. Original fonts created by the customer are also acceptable.
