Infinity Stamps (ISI) produces Steel Hand Stamps for permanently marking flat, concave and convex surfaces. These Steel Hand Stamps are designed to be struck with a hammer and intended for marking metals, plastics, wood and other materials that can be impressed manually. Steel Hand Stamps can be made with four different face styles: Sharp-face, flat-face, round-face and dotted style face, as appropriate for the specific material or product to be marked. Hand Stamps can also be produced with reversed characters, usually for the Mold Industry.
Steel Hand Stamp Features
Steel Hand Stamps can be made of tool steel or high-speed steel. Infinity Stamps, Inc. uses only the best quality steel. A standard Hand Stamp is 3-1/2” to 4” long, allowing for a good, safe grip. Its top end is rounded to prevent chipping when struck. The Hand Stamp is notched to indicate the correct application direction and its head is beveled up to the face. All Hand Stamps are heat-treated to a degree of hardness that ensures maximal durability.

The Four Face Style Applications
Sharp-Face Hand Stamp: Suitable for marking materials of different degrees of hardness.
Flat-Face Hand Stamp: Suitable for marking softer materials such as soft wood, soft metals and some plastics.
Low Stress Round-Face Hand Stamp: Suitable for marking materials that cannot sustain microscopic fractures. Mostly used by the Aerospace Industry.
Low Stress Dotted Style Hand Stamp: Suitable for marking materials with greater sensitivity such as cylinders intended to hold high-pressure contents.
The Hand Stamp Image
The image on the face of any Hand Stamp can include text, logos, designs, signatures, etc. with or without a border. The total image size of a Hand Stamp should not exceed 0.5” x 1.5”. This ensures that the entire image is evenly impressed.
Artwork
Sharp-Face and Round-Face Hand Stamps are produced with only single-stroke characters and single-stroke artwork.
Infinity Stamps uses their own fonts specifically created for producing the images on sharp-face and round-face stamps. True Type Fonts (letter styles found in Word Programs) cannot be used “as is”. However, the outlines of most True Type font characters can be used. It is also possible for ISI to create the desired true type font characters in single-stroke.
Artwork for logos, signatures and designs also need to be single-stroke. Vector format files meet this requirement. Flat-Face Hand Stamps can be produced with any True Type Font (any style character) or with original fonts created in vector format by the customer. No modification is necessary.
Dotted Style Face Hand Stamps are created with artwork prepared by the ISI Graphic Design Department using any font desired by the customer. Logos are also recreated in dotted style.
FONTS (Letter & Number Styles)
The ISI Font Gallery displays many fonts to choose from.
Some fonts may not be suitable for all stamps. When choosing a font or a few font options, the total image size (for the stamp face) needs to be taken into consideration. Additional fonts may become available as the Infinity Stamps Font Selection continuously grows. Fonts used in other languages such as Asian, Arabic and Hebrew can also be used. Original fonts created by the customer are also acceptable.
