When a raised image is required, Embossing is the most effective marking method. A good example of an Embossed image is the raised number on a license plate. An Embossing Die Set is a Metal Stamp Set used in a press to obtain this image. Embossing is suitable for marking thin sheets of material such as aluminum, brass, copper, stainless steel, tin, etc.

An Embossing Die Set is comprised of two Metal Stamp parts, male and female. The male part is produced with a face that features the raised image that “reads right” (is read normally) while the female part is produced with a sunken image that reads upside down.
In order to produce the two parts of the Embossing Die Set to fit each other perfectly, it is imperative that the artwork for both male and female parts be absolutely precise. It is just as important that the customer specify the exact thickness of the material to be embossed. This ensures appropriate spacing between male and female parts to achieve a perfect embossed image.
All Embossing Die Sets are made per customer specifications. When artwork is not available, Infinity Stamps can replicate a sample Embossing Die Set or utilize an embossed product as a sample to produce a new Embossing Die Set.

Some fonts may not be suitable for all stamps. When choosing a font or a few font options, the total image size (for the stamp face) needs to be taken into consideration. Additional fonts may become available as the Infinity Stamps Font Selection continuously grows. Fonts used in other languages such as Asian, Arabic and Hebrew can also be used. Original fonts created by the customer are also acceptable.
